End-of-life planning is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give yourself and the people you love
Join us for a supportive, informative, and empowering workshop designed to help you get your personal and emotional affairs in order.
This day-long workshop blends education and practical resources with therapeutic approaches and space for reflection—creating an experience that is both focused and deeply personal.
What We Will Cover:
Clarifying your beliefs, fears, and wishes surrounding dying and death
Hands-on work with Advance Directives & Healthcare Agents
Understanding your medical options
Preparing a plan for managing your personal belongings
Planning for what you leave behind: legacy options and celebrations
Exploring your final wishes for a good death
Planning for your body after death
How to initiate authentic conversations about your planning with the people who matter most — family, friends or others involved in your care
The workshop incudes a helpful guide that we will reference throughout the day to organize what you and your loved ones will need.
Workshop are led by aunt-and-niece duo LeeAnn Bartolini, PhD, and Nicole Bartolini, LCSW — bringing together decades of combined experience in psychology, end-of-life care, and education.
This day long in-person workshop is offered at the beautiful Lodge at Marconi Marshall, California. The setting offers comfort and the opportunity for reflection on the shores of Tomales Bay.

Included in the retreat fee we also offer a 2 hour follow-up meeting on zoom to help with planning, additional questions, and personal accountability on Wednesday, December 9th 5:30-7:30pm

Meet your Facilitators
LeeAnn Bartolini, PhD
LeeAnn is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY8735) who specializes in psychotherapy with individuals and couples. She is a Professor of Psychology at Dominican University. She has been involved in teaching a wide variety of undergraduate psychology courses, including Death and Dying.
LeeAnn has maintained a private practice in Mill Valley since 1985 and is involved in diverse community work, including being past Board Chair at the Center for Domestic Peace and current Board Chair at Postpartum Support Center. LeeAnn is also a Certified Death Doula.
Nicole Bartolini, LCSW
With over 20 years of experience across multiple healthcare organizations, Nicole is passionate about helping individuals and their loved ones feel prepared and informed as they navigate end-of-life planning.
Nicole received her Master's degree in Social Work from Columbia University, with a focus on healthcare and completed her clinical licensure (LCSW28076) in 2011. Her career has spanned roles in home hospice, geriatrics, oncology, hospital intensive care and emergency as well as leading education for medical professionals regarding advance care planning.
